One lovely sunday in march Lions Club Bergen Student dressed up in their warmest clothes and took a hike up Fløien.

Lions Club is the world's largest secular service club organization. We work to raise money and start projects for local, national and international charity.
Lions Club Bergen Student is Lions Club Norway's first and most established campus club. Our biggest humanitarian projects are in Uganda, where we participate annually in Lions Club's cultural exchange program for students, AIM (Aid in Meeting). Our aid projects are without exceptions sustainable and income generating projects.
In 2010 our main focus is on establishing local projects in Bergen. We have decided to concentrate on the growing problem of substance abuse. We now have a group in our club who are working with Lions Quest in Bergen, and one who are working with the project in Uganda.
To continue our work, both in Bergen and in developing countries, we need your help! As a Lions Club Bergen Student member you will be provided with thorough and valuable principles with regards to starting and carrying out projects. Our main areas are project work, leadership development and intercultural understanding. You are also given an opportunity to apply for the annual month-long AIM exchange to Uganda.
